Well, autumn is well and truly here in the southern hemisphere, so that’s great writing weather! I thought I’d give you a little snapshot of what I’ve been up to!
My new witchy urban fantasy series is well underway – 30000 words so far. It’s called the White Haven Witches and is about a group of witches living in a seaside town on the south coast of England – think lovely Cornish fishing villages! They discover there are old hidden grimoires that contain a wealth of magic, and that their powers could be far greater than they realise. The only thing is, someone else wants the missing grimoires too. They’re adult books and there’s a touch of romance. I’m planning on at least three books, but there could be more. I’ve been mulling over the first book’s title, but I’m not there yet.
After months of planning, the audio version of Tom’s Inheritance is heading into stores now! My narrator is an English actor called Nick Howden-Steenstra. I’m really pleased with the result, although it’s so weird hearing someone else read your words. Have a listen – I hope you like it!
I’ve just finished a prequel short for Tom’s Arthurian Legacy. It’s about how Vivian, the Lady of the Lake, had to negotiate with the Forger of Light for Excalibur. I also have more shorts planned, but I’m really focusing on my new series at the moment. It’s so addictive to write it. Fun times!

I have just read all of the Whitehaven books, absolutely loved them! I usually go to Cornwall with my partner at least three times a year, staying just outside Tintagel. Our friend is a local witch there too. Your characters are so well described I could picture them and the types of places in my mind. I am looking forward to reading more of your books and also more Whitehaven too 😊
